When we first met Jen, we knew she was the perfect fit for Luxe! Her style and dreams for her big day were so unique and we could not wait to bring them all to life!
Jen and Joe had lived in Chicago prior to moving to PDX and wanted to bring a little Chi-town to their Portland wedding, while also aiming for a celestial influenced design – without being too campy or “theme-y”.
Jen + Joe’s special day took place at the Portland Armory. The venue’s brick façade and interior reminded the couple of Chicago’s historic row houses while the venue’s Edison bulb installation provided a gorgeous celestial-inspired canopy over the celebration.
Set to an industrial backdrop of black velour drape and an Edison bulb curtain, their ceremony was one to remember!
After cocktail hour, guests found their seat on a celestial-sky inspired seating chart. Once upstairs, guests were greeted by iridescent black tables, dark and moody floral, celestial-inspired paper details, and gorgeous candlelight.
Following a delicious dinner from Chefstable Catering, Jen and Joe’s loved ones toasted to the couple across the mezzanine and laughter filled the air.
Guests joined the couple on the dance floor and enjoyed a dessert bar and Chicago-inspired late night snacks including popcorn served in mini Chicago Cubs hats and mini Chicago dogs!
