Alicia + Sam’s German Inspired Outdoor Wedding at Redland Family Farm

Every wedding is special, but it’s an incredible feeling to see one of our own Luxe ladies tie the knot! Alicia was part of the OG Luxe team and are so grateful to have had the honor of coordinating their German-inspired Winter wedding!

Alicia and Sam wanted their special day to reflect Alicia’s German heritage while adding a nod to Sam’s Italian roots. The couple had recently enjoyed a memorable trip to Germany with Alicia’s family.

From the delicious food to the amazing smells of mulled wine in the streets, their goal was to incorporate everything they loved about that trip into their big day. With all of this in mind, we knew just the catering team to bring it all together, and Chefstable Catering knocked it out of the park, as usual!

Redland Family Farm was the perfect backdrop for this Winter affair and the weather could not have been more perfect – especially for January in the PNW!

To set the tone, guests were greeted with a glass of Gluhwein, a warm German mulled wine, in a customized cup when they arrived.

After a beautiful ceremony set against evergreen trees from Alicia’s family farm, guests enjoyed German-inspired hors d’oeuvres – including a cute custom-made pretzel station, and German beer.

After cocktail hour, guests found their seat for dinner, where pitchers of German beer, French fry baskets and custom Stroopwafel favors welcomed them.

Their German-inspired dinner was a huge hit with their guests as they enjoyed wienerschnitzel, brisket, potato salad and more – Alicia’s family said it was even better than the food they had in Germany – what a compliment to Chefstable Catering! (Whom we love and really enjoy working with!)

Toasts were followed by mini Italian desserts and espresso, fueling their guests to dance the night away!

Floral trends come and go, but every so often a new bloom (or branch) steals the spotlight. This season, smoke bush has become the unexpected star of wedding design. Its dreamy, cloud-like texture paired with statement flowers like lilies creates lush, dimensional arrangements that feel both modern and romantic. While roses and peonies will always have their place, smoke bush adds an edge that feels fresh, original, and unforgettable.

The ceremony may be about tradition, but the reception is about freedom, fun, and personality. That is exactly why more and more brides are swapping their gowns for a second look, and loving every minute of it.

We love a good guest favor, but only if it’s useful. Skip the trinkets that end up in junk drawers and think about favors that tie to your story.
